Ranchi: A hearing in the check bounce case related to film actress Ameesha Patel was held in Ranchi Civil Court on Monday. A petition was filed under Section 311 of CRPC on behalf of Ameesha Patel in the court of Judicial Magistrate DN Shukla. This petition is filed to recall the witness.
On behalf of Ameesha Patel, a request was made to call the first witness Ajay Singh alias Tinku Singh again. Advocate Smita Pathak appeared on behalf of Ajay Singh. It was expected that during Monday’s hearing, Ameesha Patel would be physically present in the court and get her statement recorded, but she did not appear in court.
However, recently Ameesha Patel has appeared in the court in this case. Check bounce case is going on against Ameesha Patel. This matter is of the year 2017.
According to the allegations, in the name of making the film Desi Magic, Ajay Singh transferred Rs 2.5 crore to the account of Ameesha Patel. Ajay Kumar Singh is the proprietor of Lovely World Entertainment. After the film was not made and the money was not returned, Ajay Kumar Singh filed a complaint in the lower court. It has been said that Ameesha Patel has cheated him.
