Ranchi: Dandiya Night Programme organised at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi during Navratri Festival in Ranchi on Monday. The program started with the welcome of Rekha Jain, President of Swayamsiddha Ladies Club (SLC) and lighting of the lamp in the dignified presence of senior committee members, committee members and members.
Later the members participated in the traditional puja and prayers of Goddess Durga. On this occasion, Mrs. Jain wished all the members good luck and prosperity for the upcoming puja celebrations, which was followed by the Dandiya Night dance programme. He said in his address that no person can do anything alone, success is achieved only through group effort.
She sought advice from the members to strengthen the activities of the Women’s Club and to come forward with new ideas, suggestions and new initiatives for the benefit of the society. The members were seen in their traditional colorful attire, enjoying the festive mood and playing the group Dandiya dance.
To make the program special, prize distribution and games of Toran Making Competition were organized. Sanchita Konar, Lakshmi Murthy, Purnima Shrikhande, Mansa Verma, Deepa, Parameshwari and other members were also present.
