Ranchi: JMM has made sharp attacks on the working style of Raj Bhavan and Governor CP Radhakrishnan. Senior JMM leader Supriyo Bhattacharya held a press conference at the party office on Wednesday.
He attacked the working style of the governor and said, if you are the one who will do the work of the central ministers and leaders of the BJP, then what will they do? BJP’s central ministers and central leaders are visiting Jharkhand every week. The work of the governor is to give proper advice in the decisions and actions of the state government. Not for the promotion of the schemes of the Centre. It is very strange that the Governor is continuously visiting the districts, but he is not paying attention to many important schemes of the state.
In fact, he did not even mention the Phulo-Jhano scheme after going to Santhal. In his tour, there are many such important schemes of the state government including Sarvajan Pension Scheme, Old Pension Scheme, Savitri Phule Bai Scheme, but they were not even mentioned. Mentioned only the Nal Jal Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana which is of the Centre. Further said that this new trend is starting, which is fatal for democracy.
Supriyo Bhattacharya said that BJP leaders had gone to Raj Bhavan yesterday. Actually, these people had gone to discuss with the Governor about the next tour and its agenda and to give him the task. They had gone to mention in which division the next tour would be held, what would be its issues.
He said that the BJP has demanded the removal of Speaker Dr. Ravindra Mahato from the Governor. It seems that the speaker is a contract worker, who should be told not to come from tomorrow. If there is an attempt to disturb us and our government, then we are also not going to keep quiet. We also know how to answer.
He said that a new trend is being started by celebrating the Foundation Day of different states in the Raj Bhavan. The interesting thing is that the foundation day of Bengal was celebrated, but CM Mamta Banerjee doesn’t even know about it. Not even a picture of the personalities of that state is put up on the foundation day. Only the Prime Minister on one side and his photo on the other.
If there is no photo of the celebrities of the respective states, then at least the photo of the temples of that state should have been posted. Because BJP does temple politics. Supriyo Bhattacharya said that BJP does amazing politics. Mentions the vacant posts of the commissions.
