Two Day National Seminar of Export Promotion inaugurated by Director Industries Bhor Singh Yadav

Ranchi: The Ministry of MSME organized a two-day national-level seminar on Export Promotion and GeM under the Procurement and Marketing Assistance Scheme (PMS Scheme) in Ranchi on Thursday.

The main objective of the program is to provide comprehensive information to the MSME units about export promotion, GeM, new market creation, latest trends in the national and international market, export process, and export-related documentation by the Ministry of MSME. This program was inaugurated by Director Industries Bhor Singh Yadav.

Joint Director MSME-Development Office Inderjit Yadav informed about the objective and outline of the program and informed all the participating entrepreneurs attending this seminar. Appealed to the officials of the Center to take advantage of the experience related to export process and documentation so that they can improve their Can export products to foreign countries and ensure development of their enterprises.

He also called for listening and learning by paying more attention to GeM experts especially so that they can become suppliers of maximum share of government procurement. Udaybhan Singh, Senior Postal Superintendent, Ranchi Circle spoke about Post Office Export Gave detailed information about the activities of the center and its role in increasing exports. He described organizing programs of this level as extremely necessary for export promotion in the present times.

Ashutosh Kumar, Deputy Director, GeM (Government e-MarketPlace) encouraged all the entrepreneurs to register to avail the services available on GeM portal. He said that through One District One Product, efforts are being made to make important products of all the districts of the country a part of the procurement of government departments.

Apart from this, entrepreneur support platforms like Vivad Se Vishwas, GeM Sahay are also available on GeM portal. Kishore Mantri, President, FJCCI said in his statement that due to the huge export potential in Jharkhand, there is a great need for an export support center and a center of DGFT in Ranchi.

He said that this seminar will greatly benefit the entrepreneurs of Jharkhand. Director of Industries Bhor Singh Yadav, Said in the address that such programs are the need of the hour to promote entrepreneurs.

With this, MSME entrepreneurs of all categories will be able to get updated information about the changes taking place in the business world and they will be able to develop their enterprises better by taking their products to new foreign markets through export.

He advised all the entrepreneurs to make their products more attractive and safe by using modern methods of packaging during export. He assured all possible assistance from the Industries Department to all the MSME participants. He also said that a new MSME policy is being brought by the Jharkhand government soon.

In this seminar, more than 150 participating entrepreneurs from Jharkhand state’s industry associations, chambers and Ranchi district and surrounding districts got their doubts resolved by talking directly to expert officials and obtained information related to export promotion and GeM.
