Need to implement public welfare schemes on ground – Alamgir Alam

Ranchi: Minister of Rural Development Department Alamgir Alam has said that there is a need to bring public welfare schemes on the ground quickly, so that the welfare of the poor people of the state can be achieved as soon as possible. He was addressing the 6th meeting of the Governing Body at the FFP Building.

Minister Alamgir directed for the adoption by JSLPS of the Model Human Resource Manual including the salary structure proposed by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India (NMMU) and agreed to the recruitment of vacant posts of JSLPS at the earliest. New brand name of JSLPS in the meeting Consent was given on ‘Palash’ and new logo.

In the meeting, the Chief Executive Officer, JSLPS, informed the Minister about the compliance of the decisions taken in the fifth meeting of the Governing Body, progress of various projects of JSLPS, major decisions taken in the Executive Committee meeting, completion of Central and State supported projects run under JSLPS. Information about this happening and the proposed action to be taken in this regard was presented.

Also, information received from the Government of India regarding the implementation of the provisions of Model Human Resource Manual in the State Rural Livelihood Mission, recruitment on vacant posts in JSLPS, proposals related to full determination of salary of JSLPS employees and data entry operators working on daily honorarium in JSLPS.

The proposal to increase the lump sum honorarium of women was discussed. After the meeting Chandrashekhar, Secretary, Rural Development Department, directed to implement all the decisions taken in the meeting as soon as possible and also to promote the production of rural women.
