Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya extended his wishes on Chaiti Chhath, Eid-ul-Fitr and Sarhul festival in Ranchi on Friday. He said, millions of tribals participated in nature’s festival Sarhul on Thursday. He talked about how Corporate and Industrialists have exploited the environment. Bhattacharya said, above things while addressing a press conference.
He said, due to the wrong policies of the Central Government on the issues to protect Jal, Jungle and Zamin. The Modi government changed Forest rights, Mining rules and Change of Coal bearing act. Recently, the Chhattisgarh government made a wrong and unlawful decision about the Forest. How Ambani and Adani entered into Bastar in Chhattisgarh, and trees have been removed.
Bhattacharya said, tribals worship and preserve Jal, Jungle and Zamin from Exploitation. BJP has a vision about only four religious beliefs and their reserved laws namely Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christianity. I want to ask where ‘Sarna or Adivasi Dharam Code’ is. BJP has a discriminatory ideology.
JMM spokesperson said, How Bills of Jharkhand Assembly have been rejected by Governor. BJP doesn’t talk about Adivasi Dharm Code and their rights and welfare. He said, likewise in the new coalition government in Maharashtra, Forest policies and their rights have been given to corporate hands. Here also in Saranda Forest and Jungles in Chhattisgarh have been given to corporate hands. He said, in the public sector bank SBI, all money has been transferred to BJP.
The Supreme Court stopped the funding of money to Political parties but due to the pressure of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman 356 Crores have been donated to BJP.
