Jharkhand administrative service officer Pramod Ram’s punishment remains intact

Ranchi: The punishment of State Administrative Service officer Pramod Ram was upheld. CM Champai Soren has rejected Pramod Ram’s appeal representation. An order has been given to maintain the penalty of three increments imposed against him. The personnel have issued its order. Earlier, approval in this matter was also given in the cabinet meeting held on March 6.

The then CO of Kunda Chatra, Pramod Ram, illegally confiscated a total of 50-50 acres of land of village Dokwa and Mauza-Pachamba to Neelanchal Iron and Power Limited. The allegation was proved in this case. The then DC of Chatra had prepared a charge sheet and recommended action.

After this CO Pramod Ram gave an appeal representation. After its review, the government rejected the appeal representation.
