Babulal Marandi wrote a letter to the Governor, said- impose President’s rule in Jharkhand

Ranchi: BJP state president Babulal Marandi has written a letter to the Governor requesting to impose the President’s rule in Jharkhand.

Babulal has written that the constitutional system has failed in Jharkhand.

The attitude of the state government and its officials towards the investigative agencies probing money laundering and corruption in the state is not good.

The investigating agencies have been writing letters to the office of the state Chief Secretary since 2022 requesting them to take action, but no action is being taken.

Many requests have been sent by ED in some cases of money laundering, but neither any action was taken nor any response was given on them.

Babulal said that more than ten cases are pending in the office of the Chief Secretary to take action against high officials in corruption cases.

Neither any response nor any action has been given to the investigating agencies, especially in cases where overwhelming evidence has been provided by the agencies along with the said request.

Babulal said that he had written a letter to the Chief Secretary as well as the Chief Minister regarding this, but neither of them gave any reply.

This proves that the state government is actively protecting the accused persons.

The government is acting against the basic spirit of the Constitution, due to which the constitutional system has broken down.

Babulal has demanded immediate intervention of the Governor in the matter and imposition of President’s rule in the state.
