Workshop on Mental Health organised for JAP jawans by CIP

Ranchi: A workshop on Mental Health was organized for the jawans of Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) by the Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) at JAP Office Auditorium, Doranda. More than 150 jawans and their family members participated in it. During this, the soldiers were told how to avoid depression. The programme was inaugurated by Anish Gupta, Commandant of JAP 1.

The training programme was conducted in three different sessions. In this mental health problems and solutions, mental challenges faced by the soldiers working in the paramilitary force and their solutions were told. Further, they were also told about the ways to maintain the mutual relationship between the soldiers working in the paramilitary services and the family. The programme was presided over by the Director of CIP Professor Dr Vasudev Das. During this, a question and answer session was also organised for the jawans.
