JMM convention: 50 welcome gates to built in the city, representatives to be given traditional welcome

Ranchi: The convention of the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha will be held in Ranchi on December 18. The first meeting of the preparatory committee constituted by the party for its preparation was held on Sunday. After the meeting, the party’s state spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya told reporters that the entire city would be decorated with party flags and banners for the general convention. 50 welcome gates will be made in the city.

Bhattacharya said that the archway will be in the name of the traditional martyrs, but this time the names of the archway will be kept keeping in mind the changing situation. Like farmer power, labour-power, youth power, women power, native power, student power etc. He said that the work of decorating the city will be started from December 15.

The main squares of the city will be decorated attractively. Party flags and banners will be put up on the main roads he said adding that the priority of the party is that the message that will be conveyed through this convention should reach the people of the state. Bhattacharya said that apart from Jharkhand, representatives from Bengal, Orissa, Bihar and Assam are coming to participate in this convention. He said that the party will work according to the new guidelines of the government regarding Corona however the new guideline is awaited.

On the question of making Shibu Soren’s residence, a heritage Bhattacharya said that Shibu Soren is a symbol of the state. Whenever the name of Jharkhand is taken, people also remember the contribution of Disom Guru.
