Khunti: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday said that now all the daughters of the family will get the benefit of Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana.
“Even after 12th, the government will provide financial support to the daughters of Jharkhand in higher education. Daughters will not only get a degree but will also be able to pursue higher education including engineering, doctor,
law etc” said Chief Minister in a program at Aapki Yojna, Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar at Khuti on Friday.
The Chief Minister said that the state government will provide financial assistance to the students here under the Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme. Also, if you wish to pursue higher education abroad, you will be provided 100% scholarship under Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Overseas Scholarship Scheme. At present, daughters of Khunti, Simdega and Gumla and other districts are pursuing higher education abroad.
Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that there are schemes for everyone in the camps being organized in villages and panchayats under “Aapki Yojana- apki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar”. All of you go and take advantage of the
schemes.
The Chief Minister said that we have to strengthen the villages, only then Jharkhand can become a developed state. Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that we have won long battles because of women. The women of the village have strongly supported the government during the Corona transition period. In this pandemic, he risked his life to provide free food.
I feel sad that many women sell liquor in the market, this will take our society backward and some people have made it a medium of organized business. I would like to tell those women that the state government has brought Phulo Jhano Ashirwad Yojana for you. Now carry on your forehead not the bones and liquor but the government’s plan and then you will see with how much respect you and the society will move forward.
Chief Minister said that the daughters of Jharkhand are performing better in the field of sports. In the coming time, we are thinking of giving jobs to the players also. We can provide more strength to our daughters. The way the Women’s Hockey Championship was organized in Jharkhand, it was a historic event. We do not think that such an event has been organized in any state of the country. It is the effort of the state government to organize similar international and national sports events in Jharkhand in the coming years.
