Ranchi: The weather is expected to remain dry in Jharkhand till March 15. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in the southern and central parts of the state on March 16. On March 12 the weather is expected to be clear. Change in weather may be seen from the 13th.
According to the Meteorological Department, dark clouds can be seen in the sky on March 13 and 14. There is also a possibility of light rain during this period. However, there will be weather once again on March 15. There is a possibility of rain in many districts of the state on the next day i.e. 16th March. In such a situation, due to frequently changing weather, fluctuations in temperature are also being seen, which is affecting people’s health.
In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature of the capital Ranchi was recorded at 13.3 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was 29.2 degrees. After sunshine, the temperature is increasing in many parts of the state including Ranchi. The drop in temperature in the evening suddenly makes one feel cold. Similar situations exist in other districts of the state also. The maximum temperature in Daltonganj has reached near 32 degrees.
At the same time, the minimum temperature has reached near 13.3 degrees. A drop in maximum temperature may be recorded in the state after March 16. The minimum temperature may rise slightly. The Meteorological Centre has predicted that if the sky is clear, the maximum temperature can go up to 33 degrees. The minimum temperature can remain between 17 to 19 degrees.
The department has cited snowfall in northern India as the reason behind the fluctuations in weather. The day temperature should have increased further, but it is not happening. There is bright sunshine in the morning, but there is still a coolness in the air. If snowfall stops in North India, the coldness in the weather will also start reducing.
The change in weather is beginning to affect mood. People are falling ill due to carelessness. The problems of fever, cold, cough and throat pain have started increasing. More than 50 patients suffering from weather disease are coming to the medicine OPD of RIMS every day. Doctors have also advised to take special care of oneself in this season.
