Train ticket booking on full steam for festival season

Ranchi: The speed of train ticket booking has become high speed due to the festive season. The booking for Durga Puja, which starts in the last week of September, has already been done. Now on October 30, the booking of tickets for Chhath in Bihar and Purvanchal trains has intensified from now on.

Diwali is on 25th October. After Diwali, the tickets for Maurya, Rourkela-Jayanagar, Secunderabad-Darbhanga and Ranchi to Godda Vananchal Express are almost full. Now it is difficult to get a confirmed ticket even in the first AC of Ranchi-Godda Express.

The speed of ticket booking is also fast in Ganga-Damodar Express originating from Dhanbad, Dhanbad Patna Express and Patliputra Express going from Hatia to Patna. Right now empty seats are visible in these trains. In the next few days, these trains will also have the status of waiting list before Chhath.

Corona had restrictions for two years because of this only a limited number of people went to the village in Chhath due to which the crowd was relatively less. This year all the restrictions have been removed. In such a situation, there is every possibility of an increase in the number of passengers going to Bihar during the Mahaparva.

Railways will have to explore the possibility of running special trains on the basis of a waiting list. If the special train does not get the green signal, the problems of the passengers may increase.
