Ranchi: Police recovered Rs 45.90 lakh from a car going from Ranchi towards Hazaribagh.
Money was recovered during vehicle checking near the toll plaza located in Ormanjhi police station area of the district on Wednesday evening.
In connection with the Lok Sabha elections, vehicles are being checked continuously by making checkposts.
Meanwhile, the police stopped an Innova car coming from Ranchi and searched it.
During the search, Rs 45.90 lakh was recovered from the car.
Further investigation is going on in this matter.
