Polling centres to be monitored in Jharkhand with 60 thousand 4D cameras in the Lok Sabha elections 2024

Ranchi:  CEO Election Commission K Ravi Kumar reviewed Election preparations through video conferencing with the nodal officers of the cell formed for webcasting, GPS tracking and vehicle management in all the districts in the Nirvachan Sadan on Wednesday.

Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar said that in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Jharkhand, webcasting will be done through 4D cameras at all the polling stations. During this period, surveillance will be maintained with approximately 60 thousand 4D cameras.

This webcasting is to be monitored at the level of Chief Election Office, District Election Officer office along with Election Commission of India. This time the voting will be monitored from different levels on the feed both inside and outside the polling station.

On Wednesday, election preparations were reviewed through video conferencing with the nodal officers of the cell formed for webcasting, GPS tracking and vehicle management in all the districts in the Nirvachan Sadan. Chief Electoral Officer K. Additional Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Singh, Joint Transport Commissioner Praveen Kumar Prakash along with officials and personnel of webcasting, GPS tracking, vehicle management cell formed at the headquarters and district level were present in the meeting.
