Ranchi: A two-day seminar on export promotion was organized by the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Government of India here.
The main objective of this seminar was to give information and awareness to MSME units about export promotion, new market creation, the latest trends in the national and international markets, the process of export, and documentation regarding export by the ministry.
Rajya Sabha MP Dr Mahua Maji who was present as the chief guest in the program said that such programs are the need of the hour to promote entrepreneurs. As with this, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and women entrepreneurs will be able to get updated information about the changes coming in the business world she said adding that they will be able to better develop their enterprises by taking their products to foreign markets through exports.
Jharkhand Industries Director Jitendra Kumar Singh assured all the entrepreneurs of all possible help for the development of their enterprise under the schemes available by the Jharkhand government.
IEDS Joint Director Indrajit Yadav appealed to all the participating entrepreneurs to take advantage of the experience of experts in the export process and documentation so that they can export their products abroad and ensure the development of their enterprises.
Assistant Director Surendra Sharma shared his experience and skills with the micro, small and medium entrepreneurs. In this seminar, more than 100 participating entrepreneurs from the State’s Industry Associations, Chambers and Ranchi district and surrounding districts resolved their doubts by talking directly with those expert officials and got information related to export promotion and Gem (GeM).
