Ranchi, Apr 23: To protest against the anti-people policies of the
central and the state government the opposition parties in the state
would be staging a dharna before the Vidhan Sabha on April 27.
Addressing a party workers meet here senior Congress leader and former
union minister Subodhkant Sahai said that on April 27 when a one day
special session of the assembly would be convened the people and the
opposition would tage their protest before the state government.
He said that people are fed up with the issues of CNT-SPT Acts and
land acquisition issues. He said that the BJP wanted to forcibly
impose its decisions on the people of the state and the opposition
will not tolerate such anti-people steps and till the last breathe
fight would be taken up, Mr Sahai said adding that the present has
cheated the people with fake claims.
He demanded that if the SIT report is made public and CBI probe is
done than the real picture would be before everyone. He said that over
police atrocities in Barkgaon on innocent villagers FIRs was
registered against various key officials but till date no action has
been taken.
