National Cycling Championship to be organized in Ranchi from 30th November, 500 players from across the country to participate

Ranchi: The 75th senior, 52nd Junior and 28th Sub Junior National Cycling Championships will be organized at the Mega Sports Complex located in Ranchi’s Sports Village from November 30 to December 4. Sardar Onkar Singh, Chairman of Cycling Federation of India and Secretary of Asian Cycling Confederation, gave this information in a press conference at the Press Club of Ranchi on Wednesday.

Sardar Onkar Singh said that more than 500 players from 26 teams from across the country will participate in this competition. At the same time, 30 players from Jharkhand will also present their claim in this competition.

Sardar Onkar Singh said that the infrastructure for cycling in Ranchi should be used, this will also help in maintenance and the maintenance of government property will also be done in a better way. Said that the weather is favorable for cycling.

Apart from the track, other arrangements have improved here. He said that many past champions and international-level cyclists will also be a part of this competition. An organizing committee has also been formed to make this event successful.

Jharkhand government minister Mithlesh Thakur is the chief partner of the organizing committee. Whereas MP Vijay Kumar has been elected as Hansda Chairman, Madhu Kant Pathak as Vice Chairman and Shailendra Kumar Pathak as Organization Secretary.
