Ranchi: Indian National Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge was given a grand welcome by Congress workers at Birsa Munda Airport on Monday. Kharge blessed the victory of Congress candidate Yashaswini Sahay. At the same time, party workers were instructed to distribute the five justice guarantee cards of Congress to every person under the door to door campaign.
On the occasion, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee President Rajesh Thakur, former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay, India Alliance candidate from Ranchi parliamentary seat Yashaswini Sahay, Kumar Raja Suresh Baitha, senior Congress leader Vinay Sinha Deepu, Surendra Singh and other workers were present.
Kharge had reached Ranchi to participate in the public meeting organized on Monday in Barhi under Hazaribagh parliamentary constituency. Kharge left for Barhi from Ranchi Airport.
