Ranchi: The hearing in the check bounce case related to film actress Ameesha Patel was completed in Ranchi Civil Court on Wednesday. Ameesha Patel’s advocate heard in the court of JMFC Digvijay Nath Shukla on the petition filed for cross-examining the complainant’s witness Ajay Kumar.
After hearing the arguments of both sides, the court reserved its decision. In this case, the statement of Ameesha Patel and her business partner Kumar Grumar is to be recorded in the court under CrPC 313. Check bounce case is going on against Ameesha Patel. This matter is of the year 2017.
According to the allegations, in the name of making the film Desi Magic, Ajay Singh transferred Rs 2.5 crore to the account of Ameesha Patel. Ajay Kumar Singh is the proprietor of Lovely World Entertainment. After not making the film and not getting the money back, Ajay Kumar Singh has filed a fraud case against Ameesha Patel.
In this case, Ameesha Patel surrendered in the Ranchi Civil Court on June 17.
