Ranchi: The remand period of suspended sub-inspector Bhanu Pratap Prasad of Bargai circle, arrested in the land scam case, ended on Saturday. After which he was presented in the special court of ED. After this, the court sent Bhanu to Hotwar jail in judicial custody till 22 February.
ED took Bhanu Pratap on remand and interrogated him for a total of 12 days. Bhanu Pratap is already in jail in the land scam case of Bariatu’s army. ED has arrested him in this case also.
Actually, ED was interrogating Hemant Soren and Bhanu Pratap face to face, because on the basis of documents recovered from Bhanu Pratap’s residence and information received from his mobile, ED has registered ECIR 6/2023 in this case and ED is investigating.
Bhanu Pratap Prasad, Hemant Soren and unknown persons have been accused in this case.
