Ranchi: Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) on Saturday released advertisements for 56 posts for Food Safety Officers.

Total of 56 posts including 22 for the general category, 14 for Schedule Tribe, 06 for Schedule Caste, 05 for Other Backward Caste (OBC-I) and 03 from the OBC-II category reserved.
The appointment would be for the Health and Family Welfare Department of the government of Jharkhand.
Probationers would complete two years of training Period.
Officers would get Salary of Pay Scale ₹ 9300 – 34800 – 5400 grade pay.
Age limit would be 35 years and for OBC would be 37 years, For Women would be 38 years and for ST and SC would be 40 years.
Questions would be asked on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based on an Objective test.
The total examination would be 200 marks and the interview would be 30 Marks.
In the written test First Paper would consist of 100 marks questions would be asked from the Food Corporation of India Act 2006.
And in the second paper Questions would be asked of Food Security and General Knowledge.
All the papers would have to be written within a time period of 2 Hours.
Examination Fees would be ₹ 600 and For ST and SC community students it would be ₹ 150 and forms can be submitted online through the website of JPSC.
