Ranchi: The team of ATS and Ranchi Police has arrested three including Rohit Munda alias Beedi, a criminal of Kalu Lama (Deceased) gang. The arrested criminals include Shubham Vishwakarma, Rohit Munda and Abhishek Malik. Rohit Munda alias Beedi and Abhishek Mallick have been arrested from Bokaro and Shubham Vishwakarma from Ranchi. The team of ATS and Ranchi police is interrogating the arrested criminals. However, it has not been officially confirmed yet.
On 27 January 2022, criminals of Luv Kush Sharma gang fired indiscriminately on Kalu Lama near Morhabadi Maidan. Kalu Lama died on the spot due to bullet injury in his neck. While the other criminal Shubham Vishwakarma was admitted to RIMS in critical condition. Bittu Khan was murdered by Rohit Munda alias Beedi criminals of the Kalu Lama gang. Bittu Khan was gunned down by criminals on June 6 in the arena near Edalhatu Tonte Chowk under Bariatu police station area of Ranchi. The plan of this massacre was made three months ago in Ranchi Jail.
The infamous Kalu Lama gang had murdered Bittu at the behest of jailed Raj Verma. Ranchi police had arrested five criminals along with the conspirator in this murder case. Two pistols, three cartridges and bike used in the incident were also recovered from them. The arrested accused included Rohan Kumar alias Rohan Srivastava, Doranda resident Mo Arif, Ankit Singh, Deepak Singh and Ankush Singh alias Lucky.
At the same time, 2 criminals Rohit Munda alias Beedi and Abhishek Mallik were out of the custody of the police.
