Palamau: A domestic gas cylinder exploded in Arrua Khurd village under Hariharganj police station area of Palamu district. About 10 people have been reported injured in this cylinder blast. Out of which the condition of five is very critical. The explosion has happened fiercely. When the people around came to know about the incident, everyone reached the spot. In a hurry, all the injured were taken for treatment.
The injured were first admitted to the Community Health Centre at Hariharganj. From there the serious people were taken to Palamu Medical College. Some people have gone to Aurangabad in Bihar for treatment.
According to police, the incident of cylinder explosion is related to the house of Azam Rizvi, who lives near the mosque in Arrua Khurd of Hariharganj police station area. The cylinder kept in the kitchen of his house was leaking. As soon as the women of the house reached the kitchen and lit the gas stove for cooking, a fire broke out there.
The fire spread rapidly on the spot. The gas cylinder exploded due to the spread of fire. More than 10 people came under the explosion and flames. Children are also involved in this. Three children of the house, three women and other family members were seriously injured in the incident. The matter is being investigated after the blast. The police is engaged in the investigation. At the same time, all have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
After getting information about this incident, the police reached the spot and with the help of local villagers, everyone was admitted to the Hariharganj Community Health Center for treatment. Women and children have suffered severe burns. All have been referred for treatment.
