Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court has rejected the bail plea of Chief Minister’s Barhet MLA representative Pankaj Mishra, accused of money laundering related to illegal mining in Sahibganj district.
The court of Justice Gautam Kumar Chaudhary had heard the bail of Pankaj Mishra on 8 February. The court had reserved its decision after hearing the arguments of all the parties.
Pankaj Mishra was arrested by ED on 19 July 2022 in a money laundering case. Since then he has been in jail.
Pankaj Mishra’s bail application has already been rejected by the lower court. Now the High Court has also refused to grant bail to Pankaj Mishra.
