Ranchi: On Saturday, the general meeting of HEC Bacha Mazdoor Jan Sangharsh Samiti was held near the HEC FFP Building.
In the meeting chaired by Harendra Prasad Yadav, burning issues like payment of outstanding salaries, contract renewal of contract workers and bonus payment were discussed.
In this general meeting, it was decided to call a meeting of other constituent parties of the Morcha on 16 January.
There will be a massive gathering of workers at HEC headquarters on January 17 from 10 am.
Along with this, a labor canteen will also be opened and a protest will be announced across the country.
This movement will also demand pay slips and ESI for contract workers.
Dilip Singh, Bhavan Singh, Manoj Pathak, Y Tripathi, Rajesh Sharma, Harendra Prasad Yadav and Greece Chauhan, Ramesh Pandey presented their views in the general meeting.
A large number of laborers were involved on this occasion.
