Ranchi: Ranchi DC Rahul Kumar Sinha held a meeting at Morhabadi Ground regarding the preparations for the Republic Day celebrations-2024.
After the meeting, DC told that this time 15 platoons and 04 bands will be displayed in the Republic Day celebrations organized in Morhabadi.
In this regard, rehearsal of the parade will be done from 16 January 2024.
During the meeting, DC discussed and gave necessary guidelines regarding the successful conduct of preparations for the Republic Day celebrations.
While discussing the preparations for the Republic Day celebrations at Morabadi ground, Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha instructed the Executive Engineer Building Division-1 to arrange for waterproof pandals/gallery/chairs on both sides of the ground for the visitors, ground leveling and barricading, stage and instructions were given to ensure arrangements for construction of tower for the sound box.
Deputy Commissioner Ranchi directed the District Nazarat Deputy Collector to ensure preparations related to waterproof pandals on both sides of the stage, seating arrangements for VVIPs on the stage, minute-to-minute programs, arrangements for refreshments and floral arrangements for the cadets participating in the parade.
Deputy Commissioner directed the Executive Engineer, Electrical Works Division, Ranchi to ensure final preparations regarding the arrangement of the electrical system and sound proof generator.
Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, directed to ensure supply of drinking water at the venue, arrangement of VIP toilets, arrangement of temporary toilets at Morhabadi ground for the cadets participating in the parade rehearsal.
Instructions were given to the Executive Engineer, Drinking Water and Sanitation Department Distribution Division, Gonda.
Deputy Commissioner Ranchi instructed the concerned officer to make timely preparations for repair and cleaning of the roads leading to Morhabadi, medical camp and firefighting arrangements.
Information related to the tableau and parade to be organized in the Republic Day celebrations was also taken by the Deputy Commissioner from the concerned officer.
He said that the senior in-charge of the tableau is the Deputy Development Commissioner, Ranchi. He also presented I.R.B. in the parade.
And instructions were given to complete the necessary process for connecting the platoon of the Indian Army.
The Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, while giving instructions to the Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Ranchi, regarding the parking arrangements, said that they should make arrangements for parking of vehicles at Morhabadi ground, according to the tableau.
We will ensure arrangement of trailer/big vehicle for the vehicle.
While giving instructions to the Civil Surgeon (Sadar), Ranchi, the Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, said that they should ensure the arrangement of medical arrangements/medical camp and ambulance.
While giving instructions to the Municipal Corporation, Ranchi, the Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, said that they should ensure the cleanliness of the venue and we will ensure cleanliness of the surroundings and all the major roads leading to the venue of the gathering.
Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha said that this time the main attraction in the Republic Day celebrations 2024 will be the display of tableau here and on the occasion of the Republic Day celebrations, based on the important schemes/policies of the Jharkhand government and the excellent art, culture, tradition and culture of Jharkhand.
Tableau displaying heritage will be displayed.
Through these tableaus, the people here will be able to see the excellent art, culture, tradition and heritage of Jharkhand based on the important schemes/policies of the government.
This time tableau of a total of 10 departments will be displayed at the Republic Day Celebrations 2024 in Morhabadi, Ranchi. Which are as follows –

(5) Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Co-operation Department
