Former MLA Pappu Yadav reached ED office in connection with Sahebganj illegal mining case

Ranchi: Former MLA from Katoria, Banka, Rajkishore Yadav alias Pappu Yadav has reached the zonal office of ED in Ranchi.

ED is interrogating him in the illegal mining case worth Rs 1000 crore in Sahebganj.

On January 5, ED had summoned him.

Pappu Yadav is said to be close to Sahibganj Deputy Commissioner Ramniwas Yadav.

According to ED, after the arrest of Pankaj Mishra, Pappu Yadav had taken command of illegal stone mining.

On January 3, ED had taken major action in the case related to illegal mining in Sahebganj, influencing the witnesses related to it and money laundering.

ED had raided 12 locations in Jharkhand, West Bengal and Rajasthan.

Former Katoria MLA Pappu Yadav also had a house in Deoghar.

Along with this, the houses of CM’s press advisor Abhishek Prasad Pintu, Sahebganj DC Ramniwas Yadav, jail employee Awadhesh Kumar Singh and CM’s close architect Vinod Kumar Singh were raided.

After the raid, ED has issued summons to everyone.

ED had found in its investigation that former MLA Pappu Yadav, resident of Custer Town, Deoghar, was handling the mining business after the arrest of CM’s MLA representative Pankaj Mishra.

ED has taken action against him by linking the case of illegal mining worth Rs 1000 crore and money laundering related to it.
