MeT Department issued Yellow alert of fog in Jharkhand

Ranchi: According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of western disturbance has started weakening in Jharkhand.

Both cold and fog have started increasing in Jharkhand.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding fog even today.

There is a possibility of fog in the northern part of the state.

The sky is cloudy in many districts of Jharkhand.

The Meteorological Department estimates that the capital Ranchi will remain cloudy till January 10.

The weather will be dry.

There is no possibility of rain in the state right now.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand has said that the minimum temperature will increase in the state for the next two to three days.

There will be a drop of 2-3 degrees from January 11.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be fog in the morning from today, January 9. But, the sky will be clear during the day.

The weather will be dry.

There will be partly cloudy sky on January 10.

From 11 to 14 January, the sky will be clear after fog and mist in the morning.

During this period, the minimum temperature is expected to be between 10 to 14 degrees.

Cold may increase further in the state, the possibility of temperature falling in many parts has been expressed.

The minimum temperature of the capital is likely to fall by around four degrees Celsius in the next four days.

Dense fog was seen in the morning in all the districts except the southern and central parts of the state.

At present the minimum temperature of Ranchi is recorded around 12 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of further drop in temperature in many areas of the state including Ranchi.

The weather has affected airline services.

Visibility at Ranchi Airport was low due to mist and fog.

Therefore the planes could not land on Monday morning.

An Indigo flight coming from Bengaluru to Ranchi was diverted to Hyderabad.

The IndiGo flight coming from Pune to Ranchi went to Raipur.

Whereas the planes coming from Mumbai and Delhi arrived late by 40 to 50 minutes.

Fog has also affected three trains.

Alleppey Express coming from Kerala has arrived late.

At the same time, Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Express and Sambalpur-Jammutvi Express also arrived late by one hour.
