Ranchi: There is a stir in the ED office after the arrest of former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren. Hemant Soren is on ED remand. At the same time, Sahibganj DC Ramniwas Yadav, Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu and Vinod Singh, considered close to Hemant Soren, are being interrogated in the ED office since morning. Meanwhile, former CM’s press advisor Abhishek Prasad Pintu has also reached the ED office.
ED officials have also done physical verification of that eight and a half acres of land in Badgai area. ED officials also took the accused CI Bhanu Pratap Prasad of Badgai area along with them for verification of the land. At the same time, ED officials also investigated the register in Badgai zonal office, in which it was revealed that the names were tampered with and corrected on November 29.
All of them will be interrogated in three different cases, but all of them are linked to Hemant Soren. Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu has been called for questioning in the case of BMW car seized from Hemant Soren’s Delhi residence. Architect Vinod Singh has been called to answer questions in the transfer-posting of officers and chat with the former CM. Whereas, Sahebganj DC Ramniwas Yadav will be questioned in the illegal mining case.
Vinod Singh was also interrogated by ED officials on Friday. In the WhatsApp chat case, Hemant Soren and Vinod Singh were interrogated face to face. Where questions were asked to Vinod Singh regarding WhatsApp chat. In response to which Vinod first did not say anything and then clearly said that all the WhatsApp chats were mine and I had sent all the messages to Hemant Soren.
The investigating agency has received more than 100 GB of data from Vinod Singh’s mobile. It is being investigated about which people he had messaged Hemant Soren. ED took information about the people about whom messages were sent. Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu will be interrogated. He will be interrogated regarding his connection with the BMW car seized from Hemant Soren’s Delhi residence.
ED had found in its investigation that the seized BMW car did not belong to former CM Hemant Soren. It is related to Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu. The registration of the car is at the Manesar home address of Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu. On Thursday, ED had sent summons to Dheeraj Sahu regarding this.
Sahebganj DC Ramniwas Yadav has been called for questioning in the illegal mining case. Since Hemant Soren is also linked to illegal mining, all the people will be made to sit together and interrogated. Sahebganj DC Ramniwas Yadav has been interrogated several times before.
On January 3, ED had simultaneously raided the houses of architect Vinod Singh, Abhishek Prasad Pintu and Sahebganj DC Ramniwas Yadav. Where many documents including cash were also found from his residence.
