JSSC paper leak Case Two arrested from Chennai, both are residents of Bihar, Coaching operators of Ranchi to be interrogated

Ranchi: The SIT has arrested two people from Chennai in the paper leak case of Jharkhand General Graduate Qualified Combined Competitive Examination-2023 of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). Both are being brought to Ranchi, where they will be interrogated. Both these youths are from Bihar. However, in view of the sensitivity of the case, Sadar DSP Sanjeev Kumar Besra, who is leading the SIT, has not confirmed this.

Raids are also going on in Patna in this case. Earlier on Thursday, a youth was caught from Patna, who is being interrogated.  This exam was held on January 28, the paper of which was already leaked. Answers to the questions in four pages were sent to JSSC’s email that day at 2:32 pm and 2:38 pm. 

When it was matched after the examination, it was found that out of the 150 questions asked in the General Knowledge test in the third shift, most of the answers were found. After this the Commission first cancelled the third shift examination. After this, the other two shifts held that day and the examination to be held on February 4 were also cancelled.

An FIR was lodged against an unknown person in Namkum police station. Then SIT was formed under the leadership of Sadar DSP Sanjeev Kumar Besra to investigate it. This examination is organized by Satwat Info Pvt. Ltd. It was done by an agency named. 

Ranchi SSP had formed four teams on Thursday to help the SIT. There are four police officers in each team. A team will interrogate some coaching center operators who prepare for the competitive exam. At the same time, a team is also in touch with the candidates. Satwat Info Pvt, a team taking the test. Also interrogating the officers and employees. 

The SIT had asked JSSC where the examination material was kept and when it was distributed. The Commission said that for the safekeeping and district-wise distribution of the examination material for the January 28 examination, the outsourcing agency had made it available to the Ranchi Treasury in sealed condition on January 22 and 23.

Then on 23rd and 24th January it was made available to the authorized magistrates of all the districts. The district administration made it available to the examination centre two hours before the examination. It was unsealed and distributed before the centre superintendent, magistrate and candidates 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
