Ranchi: DC Chhavi Ranjan along with senior officials of the district administration and Ranchi Civil Surgeon VB Prasad chaired a review meeting over the progress in vaccination drive.
First he collected information from the officials regarding progress in vaccination of health care workers. He sought information related to sessions of Corona vaccine being conducted, number of beneficiaries who have been vaccinated and how many more beneficiaries are left to be vaccinated. He collected information from the Civil Surgeon regarding why some registered beneficiaries have not taken the vaccine.
The DC also sought report from the different private hospitals regarding the progress of vaccination. He directed ADM Lokesh Mishra to hold a meeting with private hospitals and said that where ever major pending a team of district administration should be sent in which a administrative officer, a medical officer and a computer operator should be present.
Over the progress in vaccination in block level he asked ADM law and order to do regular follow ups. He directed the BDOs and MOIC to give a joint report over the vaccination of the field level workers and healthcare workers.
Over the issue of vaccination of para millitary cases the DC collected information regarding the registered beneficiaries who are posted outside. For the rate of vaccination being increased for para military forces he directed the ADM to hold a meeting with the concerned officials in this regard.
The DC also gave necessary instructions regarding vaccination of field level workers and also regarding the second dose of vaccination. He asked the officials to increase the speed of vaccination.
