DC instructs to complete the process of payment of compensation for Palma- Gumla section in two months

Ranchi: Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha a meeting related to land revenue and land acquisition was held on Friday in which senior officials of the district administration and concerned departments also participated.

In the meeting issued related pending filing-rejection and land demarcation, pending certificate cases, updated status regarding the transfer of land to various agencies of the Government of India and the Government of Jharkhand, illegal jamabandi, clearance and FRA related to forest land to various agencies was reviewed and necessary guidelines were given.

During the meeting, a zone-wise review of rent fixation, rent recovery and land demarcation, succession partition mutation, etc was done by Deputy Commissioner. To expedite the demarcation work, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Additional Collector to ensure the availability of Amin.

While reviewing the mutation cases he said that all the circle officers should ensure that the cases pending for 30 days are not in double digits. He also collected information over what was the present status of land acquisition in all the National Highway projects going on in the district, how many villages were impacted, the process of compensation payment is going on in Mauja, where it is pending etc and ordered to collect the applications and related documents of all the beneficiaries in a camp mode where payment has not been made.

The Deputy Commissioner said that speedy disposal of applications coming in large numbers in the camp is possible. He said that mainly in the Palma-Gumla section, a time limit has been fixed for payment of 132 crores. The entire payment will be processed successfully in the coming two months.

He informed that the process of payment of compensation is currently in progress in the Bharatmala project, Kanta Toli flyover, Bijupada- Kutchury section. In the coming days, after taking the details of the beneficiaries in the camp mode, payment will be made to the beneficiaries and handed over to NHAI so that they can complete the construction of the road through all the contractors.

While reviewing the transfer of land to various departments of the Government of India and the State Government he directed the concerned officials to provide the land within the time limit. At present, there are 55 such cases in the district. Somewhere to build a police station, somewhere to make IGNOU a hostel, somewhere the health department needs land.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the process of getting the land identified in each zone has been started and all the departments will be provided land at the concerned location within the stipulated time frame.
