Ranchi: A low-pressure area is forming again in the Bay of Bengal due to this there may be heavy rain in Jharkhand on August 19 and 20. The Meteorological Department has given this information on Tuesday. Meteorological Center Ranchi said that the monsoon trough is passing through Jaisalmer. Its center of the depression is in East Rajasthan and adjoining West Madhya Pradesh, Damoh, Ambikapur, Purulia, Contai, which is moving towards Northeast Bay of Bengal.
The Meteorological Center said that on August 19, it is likely to turn into a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal. Due to this effect, heavy rains may occur in many parts of Jharkhand on August 19 and 20.
According to the warning issued by the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with light to moderate thunderstorms at isolated places in the state on August 17. At the same time, on August 19, heavy rainfall may take place at isolated places in the south-eastern (East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega and Seraikela-Kharsawan) and northeastern (Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahibganj) parts of Jharkhand.
Not only this, on August 20, the state’s southern (East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega and Seraikela-Kharsawan), central (Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti and Ramgarh) and north-western (Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma) , Latehar and Lohardaga) parts of the state may receive heavy rains.
Meteorological Center Ranchi has also issued a forecast of the weather in and around the capital Ranchi. It has been said that till August 20, the capital will remain cloudy. From August 17 to 19, Ranchi will receive light to moderate rainfall once or twice a day. On August 20, there will be moderate rainfall in the capital.
During this, the minimum temperature will remain 22 degrees centigrade, while the maximum temperature will be between 26 to 30 degrees.
