Ranchi: Four criminals have committed robbery with the force of arms in a bus coming from Kolkata to Ranchi.
This incident took place on Tuesday morning near Nawadih of Dasham Fall police station area, where the criminals, on the strength of weapons, looted around Rs 30 lakh from several businessmen traveling in the Shivam bus and ran away towards the forest.
After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and are busy investigating the matter.
Actually Shivam bus was going from Babughat Kolkata towards Ranchi with passengers.
Meanwhile, near Nawadih near Dasham Fall police station area, the criminals asked the bus driver to stop the vehicle.
When the bus was not stopped, the criminals attacked the driver with the butt of the gun and stopped the bus.
The criminals looted bags full of money from three vegetable traders at gun and knife point.
Also, the criminals stabbed a passenger in his leg and looted Rs 5 lakh.
The injured person has been admitted to Bundu Trauma Center.
After committing the robbery, the criminals hit the sub conductor on his head, opened the gate and ran away towards the forest.
