Children made 108 paintings of Goddess Durga during painting exhibition named Shakti organized by Kalakarti School of Arts

Ranchi: A workshop for the painting exhibition named Shakti organized by Kalakarti School of Arts Doranda and Hatia and Kalakarti Art Foundation on the occasion of Navratri was organized at Doranda Centre. The workshop lasted for a week where hundreds of students aged between 8 years to 40 years taking art education from the institute participated.

On this occasion, children of Kalakarti School of Arts painted various forms of Maa Durga on their canvas. 108 paintings were prepared by the children on this occasion. The paintings made in a workshop will be displayed in the painting exhibition to be organized during the Durga Puja festival.

On the occasion of the closing ceremony, all the participants will be awarded by Kalakarti Art Foundation. In this workshop, children depicted different forms of Maa Durga with watercolor, acrylic color, oil pastel, charcoal pencil etc.

On this occasion, Director of Artwork Dhananjay Kumar said that such workshops provide a platform to the creative talent of children and they are able to present their talent in front of people. In this painting exhibition Aarti, Komal, Richa, Suruchi, Ritu, Nibha, Shikha, Mayank. Sheetal, Rinki, Jaya, Saksham, Inshu and other students participated.
