CBI files charge sheet against people for irregularities in engineers appointment

Ranchi, Jul 20: Principal Secretary of the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department Nidhi Khare said that CBI has filed charge sheet against 18 persons in wake  of irregularities committed during selection process in lieu of JPSC advertisement number 12/2002-03 and 8/2005.

 

The CBI has filed the chargesheet in the special CBI court in Ranchi. Ms Khare said that chargesheets have not been filed against the than member JPSC Shanti Devi and the than examination controller JPSC Elis Usha Rani Singh.

 

She said that the copy of the chargesheet has been sent to  the department concerned for necessary disciplinary action. The charge sheet has been filed against IPC section 120B, 420, 468, 471 and Article 13 (2) and 13 (1, d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

 

Among the 18 people included Dilip Kumar Prasad, the than JPSC chairman, Gopal Prasad Singh, the than member JPSC, Radha Gobind Singh Nagesh, the than member JPSC while thre remaining are assistant and junior engineers posted in different departments.
