Assocham’s New initiative on 3M for Dynamics and Transparent Development

Ranchi: Metals, mines and minerals are an amazing gift of nature, which is essential for many elements that we use in our life. In the context of metal correction and sustainable development, Assocham organised a summit cum awards on Metals, Mining & Metallurgy on Friday the Hotel BNR Chanakya, Ranchi.

The main motive of the program was to discuss the national mining, metals and metallurgy (3M). The event was started with the welcoming of the guests and enlightenment of the holy lamp by hon’ble minister, department of food- civil supplies and public affairs, Shri. Saryu Rai , the chief guest of the program .

Secretary : Department of Mines & Geology (IAS ) Abubakar Siddiqui , Director : Department of Industries (IAS) Mukesh Kumar also graced the occasion and discussed about the resources that can be reused without wasting the raw materials and how to increase the step towards sustainable development .

Shri Saryu Rai said that correct way of using metals more effectively can contribute towards the development of the state and country. He gave information about the extraction and management of mineral extraction in the overall strategy of economic development of the country and suggested to change the policy of environmental protection so that the country and the state can be rich in minerals and property matters.

Secretary of department of mines & geology (IAS) Aboobakar Siddiqui said that Jharkhand is rich in mines & minerals and is right state for investment, which can be used for development of state keeping in mind of safeguarding the environment.

Director ,department of industries (IAS) Mukesh Kumar said that the resources should be recycled and reused without wasting the materials and should contribute towards the development of the state .On this occasion the efforts of organizations and institutions doing recommendable work in the field of minerals, metals and metallurgy were appreciated.
