Ranchi: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is sitting on strike in front of Raj Bhavan with various demands.
Under the leadership of ABVP National General Secretary Yagywal K Shukla, students of all the universities and colleges of Jharkhand are also protesting.
The students sitting on strike are demanding the appointment of a permanent Vice Chancellor in the university, timely session, and allegations of corruption against Raj Bhavan officials and stopping outsourcing in the universities of Jharkhand.
ABVP workers and officials said that if their demands are not met then they will carry out violent agitation.
They said that many times we sought time from Raj Bhavan to present our problems before the Governor.
