Ranchi: Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth has written a letter to the Secretary, Rural Affairs Department, Jharkhand, recommending the construction of 17 roads in Ranchi under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Phase 3.
In his recommendation, the MP has written that these roads should be constructed on a priority basis so that the movement of the villagers can be smooth and better facilities can be provided to them.
With the recommendation, the way for the construction of these roads has been paved.
The roads recommended by the MP include PWD Road from Munda Toli to State Highway, Singari to Hundru, Umedanda to Sidrol, Budhmu Bazar to Rai, Vikas Main Road from Rohina to Newri Vikas Ring Road, Manatu ITBP Campus to Ratu. Road up to Ravi Steel, Bhusar Ring Road to PWD Road, PWD Road from Devgaon to Upper Dahu Hulhundu, Anandi to Honda Toli via Ormanjhi Thana, Guru Chowk to Chapabar Uklid, Sikidiri Chowk to Pundag, Gonda to Kota Colambi.
The road covers the state highway from Doortoli to Toli via Piska, Prem Nagar to Itki, Chordera to Chhota Muri, Tutki to Dharampur, Chhota Changru to Ban Tola via Bada Changru Tinku.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, all these rural roads are to be constructed, the cost of which is approximately more than Rs 90 crore. The construction of these roads will pave the way for the development of rural areas. In this regard, the MP said that rural areas can also get main roads and will make the movement of the villagers easy and better resources can be made available to them.
He said that work was done in this direction first under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and now under the leadership of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this direction, these rural roads have been recommended. The way for their construction has also been paved he said adding that very soon the construction of all these roads will start. Seth said that it is his endeavor that the construction work of these roads is completed as soon as possible so that the villagers can use it.
