Ranchi: The Ranchi district administration will conduct a special Corona testing drive across 13 locations on Wednesday in which a target has been set to perform 8,000 tests.
In wake of the drive officials of the district administration including ADM Law and Order Lokesh Mishra and SDM Sameera S briefed the teams at the Auditorium of the SPMU regarding sample collection and team mass testing.
The ADM asked all the magistrates and co-ordinating officers to adopt all the safety measures and said that during the drive maintaining social distancing and wearing of masks would be compulsory. Further, all the teams should be equipped with PPE kits, gloves and other apparatus.
The teams were asked to note down the name address contact details and mobile number of the people. Further instructions were also issued regarding the disposal of biomedical waste. The teams were asked to keep special awareness in crowded and sensitive areas and in case of any problem at the centers the teams were asked to get in touch with senior officials. The ADM clearly said that disposal of biomedical waste should be done as per ICMR guidelines.
The test would be held on Wednesday at Morhabadi, RMC Slums Jaggannathpur, Ranchi Railway Station Parking, Bahu Bazaar, Doranda Daily Market, Muri, Bakri Bazaar, Kanke, Daladali Chowk, Itki Bazaar, Narkopi Bazaar, Budmu and Chanho.
