Committed to bring smiles on the faces of the poor: Raghubar Das

Ranchi, Jul 6: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that any target can be achieved in life if a person makes honest effort and works to achieve that goal with full dedication and commitment.

 

Participating in a programme organised by a local daily here he said that one should always have the desire to do something for the society and the people. He said that success can not be achieved with divergent mind and intentions.

 

He said that he has taken a pledge to remove poverty from the state  and at all cost poverty would be removed. Mr Das said that since he himself had seen poverty therefore he understood the pain and sufferings of the poor. He said that the success of his government would be determined on many smiles they bring on the faces of the poor of the state.

 

The Chief Minister said that when one has the desire to achieve than sky is the limit. One should always keep their morale high if they want to achieve any big result in life. The Chief Minister said that there are numerous people in the society who want to contribute but there was a need to encourage them.

 

He called on the people to change their thoughts towards the poor and suggested that the people should also inquire about the well being of the family members and children of their co-workers which helps to increase proximity. He said that education plays an important role to bring societal changes and said that education can help bring people into the mainstream of life and said that education alone can help remove the the backwardness and social evils.

 

The Chief Minister asked the people to draw inspiration from the life of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar. He said that Baba Saheb despite being born in a poor family attained high education and worked to remove the social evils from the society and showed it a new path.
