Ranchi: Under the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme, a meeting of the District Level Selection Committee was organized for the approval of loans to the Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes, Backward and Minority Beneficiaries. Project Director ITDA, District Welfare Officer, General Manager Industries Department and other members of the committee were present in the meeting organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Chhavi Ranjan.
In the meeting, the committee deliberated on sanctioning loans to SC/ST/backward and minority beneficiaries. After deliberation, the committee approved several applications. Of these, loans were sanctioned to 11 of the Scheduled Castes, 15 of the Scheduled Tribes, 15 of the Backward Classes and 16 of the Minorities.
During the meeting, the DC said that no complaint should be received regarding loan sanctions under the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme. Eligible applicants should not face any problem having attached the required documents he said adding that if someone’s application is rejected then the person should be informed on which ground his application has been rejected.
