Yellow alert of heat wave in Jharkhand, Mercury touched 45 degrees in Seraikela-Godda

Ranchi:  The Meteorological Department has issued a warning in Jharkhand till April 30. An alert has been issued in the state to avoid heat waves. The areas for which the Meteorological Department has issued an alert today include the districts of Kolhan Division, North Chotanagpur Division, Santhal Division.

The temperature in these places in the state is also high and the risk of heat waves is highest in these areas. To avoid heat waves, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert and issued a warning. Its danger is gradually increasing in other areas of the state also.

Till April 30, Garhwa of Palamu division, Seraikela in Kharsawan district along with East and West Singhbhum of Kolhan in Palamu districts, Ramgarh, Bokaro and Dhanbad of North Chotanagpur division, Ranchi of South Chotanagpur division, Deoghar, Dumka, Pakur of Khunti Santhal division.

The risk of a heat wave will increase in Godda Sahibganj. The effect of strong sunlight has started appearing in Jharkhand since 8 am. Heat wave has been going on since morning. There is no possibility of any major change in the weather in the state right now.

Regarding the month of May, the Meteorological Department has not yet revealed the weather forecast as to what the weather will be like during that period. In the last few days, the temperature has increased by 2 to 3 degrees.

The maximum temperature in the state is expected to be around 41 degrees and minimum 23 degrees. If we look at the weather of the last 24 hours in the state, the weather remained dry.

he highest temperature in the state was 44.8 degrees Celsius in Seraikela and Godda. The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 21.7 degrees Celsius in Giridih. If we look at the data of temperature fluctuations in the state, the maximum increase in the maximum temperature of the state has been recorded in Chaibasa, where in the last 24 hours the maximum temperature has increased by 4.3 degrees Celsius and reached 42.9 degrees Celsius.

Similarly, the temperature of Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Daltonganj, Bokaro has also increased. There has been no major drop in temperature in any district in the last 24 hours.
