Workshop on Hindi Language and quarterly meeting organized in PIB Office Ranchi

Ranchi:  Joint quarterly meeting and workshop of official language Hindi was organized at the Press Information Bureau (PIB) office in Ranchi on Thursday.

The meeting was started by jointly lighting the lamp by Additional Director General Akhil Kumar Mishra, Expert Guest Sanjay Krishna, Media and Communication Officer Rajesh Sinha, Office Head Shahid Rehman and PIB Office Head Gaurav Kumar Pushkar.

Addressing the meeting, Additional Director General of PIB-CBC Akhil Kumar Mishra said that all officers and employees should follow the rules of official language 100 percent.

Senior journalist of Ranchi Sanjay Krishna, while giving detailed information about the use of simple Hindi in the government work, said that even in correspondence between offices, such Hindi should be used which is easily understood.

Many times such translations are made which are difficult to understand easily. Krishna said that it is necessary to study continuously to develop the vocabulary. Knowledge of words improves by studying literature and magazines.

Through good vocabulary, effective communication can be done in fewer words. Common people can also benefit from the use of local words in government work. Rajesh Sinha, Media and Communication Officer of the Press Information Bureau, said that mutual discussion during Hindi meetings also leads to better knowledge of the language. Sinha also shared his experiences in detail.
