Police arrested two people for selling brown sugar from Kishoreganj

Ranchi: Ranchi Police has arrested two people who were buying and selling brown sugar near Roadways in Kishoreganj.

Five smugglers fled from the spot.

The arrested accused include Mukesh Yadav and Rakesh Kumar, residents of New Anandnagar Road No. 7 of Sukhdevnagar police station area.

Both are originally residents of Athamalgola police station area of Nalanda district of Bihar.

Police found 5 pieces of brown sugar and a mobile phone kept in aluminum foil from Mukesh Yadav and 7 pieces of brown sugar and a mobile phone kept in aluminum foil from Rakesh Kumar Yadav.

Five accused fled from the spot.

The arrested accused have told everything to the police about the names and addresses of the absconding people.

In search of whom the police are raiding possible places.

The absconding accused include the names of kingpin Bablu Yadav alias Bablu Rai, Krishna Yadav alias Krishna Rai, Kanhaiya Kumar Yadav alias Kanhaiya Rai, Durlabh and Pawan alias Pawan Soni alias Parle.

Police said that Ranchi SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha had received secret information that some people were buying and selling brown sugar and ganja near Roadways in Kishoreganj.

The police captain took it seriously and formed a team under the leadership of Kotwali DSP Prakash Soy.

DSP Prakash Soy, taking immediate action, arrested two people with brown sugar near Roadways, Kishoreganj.

Some people escaped and the police are searching for them.

Police have recovered 1.80 grams of brown sugar and other items from the arrested Mukesh and Rakesh.
