Women’s Asian Hockey Championship: Japan’s team reached Ranchi, danced to the beats of drums

Ranchi: Women’s Asian Hockey Championship is going to be organized in Ranchi from 27th October. Regarding this, the Japanese team reached Ranchi on Sunday. He was given a warm welcome at the airport with drums and drums. 

The organizers welcomed the players by giving them traditional Gamchha and bouquet. During this, Japanese players were also seen dancing to the beats of drums. After this, the chalk players were taken from the airport to Hotel Chanakya BNR along with their Chauband.

Hockey India General Secretary Bholanath Singh, Hockey Jharkhand General Secretary Vijay Shankar Singh, Rajnish Kumar and many dignitaries were present at Ranchi Airport to welcome the Japanese team. On behalf of the administration, many soldiers including City SP Raj Kumar Mehta, Hatia DSP Raja Mitra, Doranda police station incharge Laxmikant, Airport police station incharge Anand were present.

The host Indian team will reach Ranchi on Sunday night. The Korean team will reach Ranchi on October 23, the Malaysian team on October 24, and the China and Thailand teams on October 25. Teams from India and Korea will stay at Hotel Park Prime, teams from Japan and Thailand at Chanakya BNR and teams from Malaysia and China will stay at Radisson Blu Hotel.
