With development of states only the country will progress says PM in Deoghar

Deoghar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that with the development of states only the country will progress. Speaking after laying foundation stones and inaugurating many infrastructure development projects worth more than Rs 16,800 crore related to Air Road and Rail Connectivity Clean Energy Health etc at the Deoghar Airport here he said that the government is working with the Mantra of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayaas. He said that with investment in infrastructure need road of development employment and self-employment are being generated.

The Prime Minister said that the result of the efforts of the government are being seen across the nation. He said that in the last 5-6 years in 70 new places have been linked via airports, heliports and water aerodromes and in 400 new routes common people are now getting the option of air travel. Under the UDAAN Yojana, more than one crore people have travelled in flights he said adding that people from the poor and middle classes have now learnt how to tie their ‘seat belts’.

Further, he said that the centre is also focussing on the development of places related to faith and spirituality apart from connectivity. The Prime Minister said that at Baba Baidyanath Dham also modern facilities have been put up under Prasad Yojana. Adding further he said that in the last eight-year focus has been on to improve highway railway airway and waterway connectivity and the feeling has been the same with connecting Jharkhand. He said that Jharkhand has also largely benefitted from gas-based economy as Pradhan  Mantri Urja Ganga Yojana is changing the fortunes of the area.

He said that four years ago he had got an opportunity to lay the foundation stone for Deoghar Airport and despite the problems of Corona work was done on the airport with great speed and today Jharkhand has got its second airport. “Every year nearly five lakh people will be travelling from the Deoghar Airport and even Bhakts of Baba will be benefitted from it,” he said.

Adding further he said that despite the fact that the schemes being started from Jharkhand but many areas of West Bengal and Bihar will be directly benefitted from it which means these projects will speed up development in Eastern India. “With the development of state the nation will progress and with this thought, the government is working for the last eight years, “ he said. The Prime Minister said that everyone gets happy after coming to Baba Dham and today all have been fortunate to give speed to the development of Jharkhand from Deoghar.

“With blessings of Baba Baidyanath today foundations have been laid and schemes worth more than Rs 16,000 crore have been inaugurated which will boost connectivity and strengthen healthcare energy tourism sectors. He further said that the dream of Deoghar Airport was seen a long time earlier which has been now realised. He said that the projects will make life easier and improve connectivity tourism and business opportunities in the state. Those who were also present included Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda etc.
