East Singhbhum: Chief Minister Champai Soren said that his government is strengthening electricity, water, roads, education and other basic facilities in the state.
The vision of creating smart villages will be fulfilled only when the basic systems in the state are strong and active.
The Chief Minister said that his government is working to implement the schemes with the aim of making Jharkhand one of the leading states of the country in the coming days.
The schemes have been taken to every home by running “Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar” campaign in the state.
Jharkhand is the first state in the country where Sarvajan Pension Scheme has been implemented.
Now women of all sections of the community in the state are being linked to the pension scheme as soon as they complete 50 years of age.
Chief Minister Champai Soren said these things while addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of Degree College at Chakulia in East Singhbhum district today.
The Chief Minister said that all of you here are witnessing the foundation stone laying ceremony of the degree college to be established at Chakulia in East Singhbhum district under Kolhan University, Chaibasa.
I have full confidence that with the construction of this degree college, the youth here will not need to go to Jamshedpur or any other city to get higher education.
The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is known as a rich state but the tribals and indigenous people here were kept away from the systems.
The Chief Minister said that his government is providing food, clothing and shelter to all the needy within the state.
The upliftment of all sections of the community including the tribals and indigenous people here is the priority of the state government.
The Chief Minister appealed to all the people present to be aware of the schemes being run by the state government.
The Chief Minister said that all of you should recognize your rights and entitlements.
This is your government.
The state government will always stand with you in all your sorrows and happiness.
The Chief Minister said that his government is continuously working towards providing food, clothing and houses to the people of the state.
The social, economic and educational system here will be strengthened at all costs.
Chief Minister Champai Soren said that his government is running many important schemes to help the students studying in government schools of the state.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of former Chief Minister Hemant ji, 80 excellent schools have been opened within the state.
In the coming few months, 325 more model schools will be upgraded on the lines of private schools.
The Chief Minister said that his government’s vision is that now children of poor, farmers and labor class can also get quality education in model schools run by the state government on par with private schools.
The Chief Minister said that only when schools will be expanded as model schools for better education in villages and homes, children will move towards a bright future.
The Chief Minister said that his government has done the work of connecting more than 8 lakh girl students studying in schools with the Savitribai Phule Samriddhi Yojana.
Under this scheme, girls studying are being provided financial assistance.
Chief Minister Champai Soren said that as soon as the children of poor, farmers and laborers in the state pass the matriculation examination, their families ask them to leave their studies and work as laborers or in private institutions.
The state government is determined to change this situation.
The Chief Minister said that his government is covering the students here for higher education through the Guruji Credit Card Scheme.
Under this scheme, education loans up to Rs 15 lakh are being provided to the students without any guarantee.
The Chief Minister said that now children of all sections of the community, including tribals and indigenous people of the state, can get higher education and become doctors, engineers, lawyers, government officers, so that his government is committed to extending the benefits of the schemes to the students.
Chief Minister Shri Champai Soren said that his government has started work for the promotion and development of the rich tribal and regional languages of the state.
The Chief Minister said that very soon Ghanti-based teachers of tribal and regional languages will be appointed so that the study of these languages starts from primary schools itself.
The Chief Minister said that now the teaching of Olchiki script will be started from primary schools only.
The Chief Minister said that his government is doing the work of providing water to every field through pipeline so that the farmer brothers of Jharkhand can produce three crops in a year.
The Chief Minister said that so that all small and big farmers can become self-reliant, it is necessary that water be supplied to their fields 12 months of the year.
Chief Minister Champai Soren said that his government is working to preserve the art, culture and tradition of Jharkhand.
Along with preserving the religious places of all classes and communities, these places are also being renovated.
