Ranchi: Jharkhand Director General of Police (DGP) Ajay Kumar Singh along with Senior Police Officials conducted a review meeting ahead of Lok Sabha Elections at Police Headquarters in Ranchi on Friday.
DGP gave instructions to police officials regarding Inter State Police Check Post at Border areas of connecting states. He also instructed officials regarding anti Maoist operations. He said, to make a SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) at Maoist affected areas.
To make proper Communication Plan and Police activity to Control Social Media. DGP Ajay Kumar Singh said, to follow code of conduct effectively. In the Inter State Border areas DGP ordered to Control and seize Narcotics, Illegal Liquor, Illegal Weapons. He said, No shelter to be provided to Maoists at any cost.
DGP Ajay Kumar Singh said, Deployment of Central Reserve Police (CRPF) and Security Forces at all 24 districts has been issued by Election Commission.
